A new HLDS beta was released by VALVe this afternoon. The age-old «flashbang doesn’t work» bug is now fixed, after years of being buggy. Cool. Here’s the release announcement from Eric Smith:
We have a beta version of the Counter-Strike Server that’s ready to be released.
* Fixed a bug in Counter-Strike where the flashbang grenade would not always flash all of the players.
This release includes all of the changes from the previous beta releases. The details for each release are outlined in the included .txt file.

All you need to do is download the appropriate file (s) and replace your old one (s). It’s always a good idea to back-up your old versions first. Clients
using 1.1.1.0/1.0.0.5 should not have any problems connecting to your servers.
